More good news! We are now allowed to have same household members ride together in a golf cart! This means family members, room-mates and other co-habitants can share a golf cart. All other social distancing rules still apply and facemasks are required when within 6′ of non household staff and players. Thank you. Regular rates are now in effect. Payments can once again be made on-site in all forms at the pro-shop window. The building remains closed to the public but golf supplies, snacks and beverages are available through the window.
Please no congregating anywhere on property and wear masks while maintaining 6′ social distance.
- We will enforce social distancing for your safety, our safety and the safety of others. We recommend wearing a mask at all times, per Governor Cuomo’s recent executive order. This is especially true if you are not able to maintain 6’ separation from everyone (even those that you arrive with, even husband/wife or parent/child). Violators will be forced to leave the property immediately.
- There is to be no congregating anywhere on the property including the parking lot. Please arrive, space out, play and leave immediately following your round.
- No access is permitted to course facilities including the club house/pro shop.
We are grateful for the opportunity to allow our visitors to enjoy the outdoors, fresh air and sunshine that we all so desperately need right now. Please do not endanger this privilege by ignoring the rules and please also understand that these rules may change at any moment. The Lyndon Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Central New York. The first nine holes of the golf course were designed by Onondaga Golf Club member David Campbell in 1907. It was built across the road from Onondaga on Earnest White’s property, making the Onondaga Golf Club into 18 holes. The club continued to lease the Lyndon nine up until 1930. The E.I White family expanded the course to its current par 68, eighteen-hole layout. The course record of 55 was scored in a match between then club pro John Murray and one of the games greatest players, Walter Hagen, who shot 59!! There is amazing history at Lyndon!
Lyndon is a 71 acre course that provides a fun golf experience for players of all ages and abilities. Our trademark features are the large grass berms on several holes as well as some of the most challenging par 3’s in the area. Our pace of play average for 9 holes is approximately 90 minutes and 18 holes just under 3 hours! We are a great place for a quick round. We offer discount rates for seniors, juniors, and military service men and women.
